Feliz Cumpleanos, Nona!!!

Today is my Grandmother Ena's birthday! She turns 85 today. Some of you might have seen her bright, energetic spirit and twinkling eyes at my parent's house in Ottawa in the past. From the sounds of our telephone conversation today, she's still got it!

I call her Nona, which means Grandmother in Italian. Incidentally, Nono means grandfather! Although Abuela is the traditional Spanish name for Grandma, Nona stuck for us.
