Confessions of a Hair Show Model!

Friday night, I was chosen as a Hair Show Model(!!!) for the ABA Beauty Hair Show held in Calgary Oct 1-2, 2006. Today, I was at the Hair Show as a bonafide Hair Show Model from 11am-5pm! I represented Paul Mitchell Salons and got the works done!

Here are some pix Lorne took tonight while I was working on my resume for WestJet, after I removed about a kilo of stage makeup from my face:

It was an out of body experience! Wild times. I got a colour job, and a great cut, and sleek straight-iron dry, and a goodie bag of salon products... all for FREE! I also got made up to look like a hooker, sadly that came with the package. The makeup artist put about a kilo of makeup on me. I took about 80% of it off and when I got home, Lorne's eyes still bugged out when he saw how much makeup I was wearing! I'll get Lorne to take some photos of the toned-down makeup and super-fun hair tonight before I sleep on it, and post them here as soon as I get a breather in my job search. At least I will look fantastic this fall as I interview and network!

Sadly I can't go out tonight and show off my new look. I have 3 important job postings due online tonight at midnight, so I'll be a Resume Queen again tonight.
