Yay Baileys!

I am currently enjoying a post-work drink. A White Russian, without the Russian - just Baileys and milk. Mmmmmm. Before running my Half Marathon, I didn't drink for more than a month, so as soon as it was over I decided to treat myself. I bought a huge 1.14 bottle of Baileys. It's my absolute favourite, but I rarely buy it since its a little pricey. This time, I splurged, because I deserve it. Just in the nick of time, because liquor stores are reporting shortages and delays in shipping, especially of Baileys. Whew!

I also purchased a fine bottle of New Zealand Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. I love NZ wine, especially Sauvs and Pinots. Yummm! Lorne and I enjoyed that bottle with a roast chicken supper on Sunday. We decided it was the perfect way to celebrate completing our workshop.

As I sit here, I am also realizing I'm making Bolognese spaghetti sauce tonight, and adding some leftover Italian red wine. Fun! Until soon, my sauce calls!
