Games Night Fun
Last weekend, Feb 9-11, was pretty quiet. Lorne was getting over a cold and I was getting a cold, so we just took it easy.
We did have fun on Saturday night though! We went to Chris and Raynell's place for a games night. We played 3 new-style board games that don't involve boards. So I guess they're just - games? Buzzword, Things in a Box, and Apples to Apples. All were most excellent. We didn't crack into our contribution, Settlers of Catan, because that one tends to take a whole evening, but next time might be a special all-Catan night!
Games nights are great. I'd love to have one sometime soon. Even just to play cards, which I so dearly miss since my visit home with my card-playing family at Christmas. Must do - soon. But for now, there is a Calgary Games club and Chris and Raynell, to ensure that the games will continue!
