Abundance in February!
Happy February!
Life is good! Work is ramping up and I'm liking it more and more, I've been running pretty regularly, and even the -25C Windchill this morning didn't faze me. When I leave for work, the sun is coming up. When I get home, the sky is still blue!! Summer is coming! Well, that may be premature, but it's nice to have more sunlight.
Tonight was a very abundant night, with 2 major demonstrations. I think it might have something to do with me getting my first paycheck!
Act of Abundance #1
Laura was over, and we heard an ad about the Barenaked Ladies concert on the radio. I've been thinking about buying tickets since before they went on sale in September, but never acted on it. Lorne is NOT a Ladies fan, so I didn't really think about it too much. But when we heard the announcement tonight, we decided to buy tickets and DO it. Neither of us have seen them live, and we've always always wanted to... and we're doing it! The crazy part is, the concert is in a WEEK! Less than a week, now. We're so pumped.
Act of Abundance #2
My cousin Vanessa invited me to Winefest 2007, on February 17th. Its a wine tasting festival here in Calgary at SAIT. All you can taste for one price. Lorne and I decided to go for that too, and bought tickets. We've always wanted to learn more about wine, and we rarely seen Vanessa and John, so it should be fun. Plus our cousins are superfun, even more than normal, when they drink wine! Please don't call us early on the morning of the 18th :)
