Home in 19 Minutes... I Like My Commute!

Without a jacket on!!!

Today it was a boiling and sunny + 9 C in Calgary! And tomorrow should be going up to +12 C or even + 14 C !!! I can't wait. This Chinook even makes the -40 C windchill in November for 2 weeks worthwhile. I am definitely going to take advantage of the weather and run at least 10km tomorrow. Woo Hoo!

I HAD to take off my light jacket while walking home because I was overheating. And I had to roll up my sleeves. AND when I got home it was too hot inside so I went out to our balcony, pulled up a chair, grabbed my book, and read out there for a half hour while watching the sunset. And all this before 5pm today. Not bad!

So I was able to walk home in 19 minutes today. Sure I hopped on the C train for 1 stop to save a couple of minutes, but I am enthralled by the fact that I can get home from work so quickly. Very very cool! In the morning it usually takes about 21 to get to work, which is awesome too.

A short commute is a good commute. Yay inner-city living!
